Rossnaree (or ’headland of the Kings’) is a privately owned historic country estate in Slane, County Meath, located only 40 minutes from Dublin and less than an hour from Belfast.
An impressive driveway sweeps to the front of Rossnaree house, standing on top of a hill with unrivalled views across the River Boyne to Ireland’s famous prehistoric monuments, Knowth, Dowth and Newgrange.
Proprietress and artist, Aisling Law – great granddaughter of Irish revolutionary Maud Gonne – designed the bespoke bedrooms at Rossnaree to offer guests a peaceful retreat, surrounded by breathtaking landscape steeped in Irish mythology and folklore.
Aisling’s private collection of Irish antiques and special artefacts from her travels in India and Africa combine beautifully to give Rossnaree an individual, eclectic style.
In this dramatic location in the heart of the Boyne Valley, guests can enjoy a sumptuous Irish breakfast in Rossnaree’s elegant Dining Room or enjoy an Artisan Picnic Basket on Rossnaree’s private land along the River Boyne.
A 2-day fishing package is now available for guests to enjoy to the estate's private waters on the River Boyne.
